Maths in our Environment

The children Ms. Leddy’s class switched on their “Maths Eyes” on a nippy December afternoon. The children were on the hunt for lines and angles in their school environment. Working in groups, the children proved worthy to the task. They gathered their evidence and presented their findings to the rest of their class. Well done boys and girls.

Author Visit

Many thanks to Clones Library who brought author Tom Palmer to Scoil Mhuire Gransha recently. Tom was really interesting and had the children hanging on his every word. Tom played a cool quiz game at the end which got the children up out of their seats. After a tough battle Molly was triumphant. Thanks again to Tom Palmer and to Laura from Clones Library for an amazing afternoon.
